What has been your highlight of Spring Fair 2018? 

Getting my very first retail stockist in the UK! 

How has being a part of Buy From Shropshire and the Giftware Association stand helped your presence at the show?

It helped immensely! The stand was a great destination for people – also the overall look of the stand was really appealing. It also meant we were introduced to some very useful contacts, as well as amazing support and social media exposure – all of which was invaluable. 

What are your thoughts on future trade shows like Spring Fair? 

Trade shows are vital opportunities for buyers and sellers to get together. An important part being that buyers sometimes come across businesses that they weren’t expecting to and that’s the beneficial nature of such events. They also create a platform for businesses to launch new products.

What experience have you gained from the show? 

Attending the Fair and looking at some of the other exhibitors taught me how other businesses approach wholesale in practical terms: labelling, minimum quantities, ways of ordering. Getting different feedback from people has inspired some new ideas and ways of thinking for my business. Also what buyers expect and hearing what their customers want, and how our products fit in with that.

About 20 

Further thoughts on Spring Fair 2018: 

Ultimately, attending the Spring Fair helped establish our presence as a brand. It also revealed where we might exhibit at future shows. Summerhouse or Contemporary Gift are more likely halls than Kitchens & Dining.
