Christmas Season is officially here! There's plenty of festive fun happening this weekend in the county - check out our top 4 picks of Christmas events in Shropshire this weekend.

1. Dudmaston Christmas Craft Fair - This weekend the Orchard and Courtyards will play host to over 70 local artists, food producers and contemporary craftspeople who will be selling a selection of THE perfect gifts. If you're not into the festive spirit yet, then the Dudmaston Christmas Fair will certainly change that! Also, if you're a National Trust member, admission is free! £5 for all non-members. Open Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pm.

2. Gorgeous Christmas Craft Fair at Enginuity - It's the 13th annual Festive Fair held at Enginuity, Coalbrookdale. Over 40 designer makers from Shropshire and beyond will be selling their wares within the wonderful Ironbridge Gorge Museums venue. As well as craft, there will also be fine local food producers selling their delicacies. Open Saturday 10am-5pm / Sunday 10am-4pm, Free Entry!

3. Shrewsbury Chocolate Festival - not quite as festive, but still a great opportunity to buy some fabulous, foodie gifts. The festival is a celebration of all things chocolate, and the organisers pride themselves on promoting small independent retailers who make stunning chocolate.  Open Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm, Free Entry!

4. Bridgnorth Christmas Craft Fair - "A Magical Mix of all Things Festive"! Head down to the Castle Hall in Bridgnorth this weekend to shop local food, artisan goods, craft, vintage, jewellery, gifts and much more. Open Saturday 11am-4pm. Don't forget, it's the Bridgnorth Christmas Light Switch on this Friday, too, starting at 4pm on the High St!
